Creative reading sessions introduce Nordic minority writers and illustrators to children and their parents. Books are not just read using several different languages, but lived through play and engaging activities.

Eco-art sessions in the playgrounds invite parents to explore the surrounding environment together with their children and other families. In this activity we combine environmental education and making of creative crafts from recycled and natural materials. Eco-art in the playgrounds runs from April to September, depending on the annual weather conditions.

In October 2024 we'll launch a new Crafts & Coffee group for parents who are currently staying at home with their children. In the weekly meetings we'll explore the surrounding environment through creative activities, mainly comfortably inside while enjoying some tea & coffee, but sometimes by spending time outside as well. Some activities are for adults only, and we'll run a parallel programme for kids in the same space, and during some sessions we do things together with children.
Our current activities:
Social Arts include our participatory and engaging activities where artistic and creative expressions are used as a tool for promoting creativity, self-expression, learning, and connection between diverse people. Achieving inclusive and sustainable society requires us to learn new ways for thinking and behaving: Social artistry is a great tool for imagining alternative realities and futures, and for promoting initiative among community members.
