• Grassroots circular economy groups are participatory action initiatives at the community level. These groups emphasize learning, skills-sharing, and developing grassroots solutions to sustainability challenges using circular economy principles and eco-design as key tools. Open to all interested, the groups meet bi-weekly in different locations in Vaasa and Mustasaari.

  • Circular skills workshops raise awareness about sustainability challenges in fashion and textiles and teach practical skills which help participants to apply circular economy principles in their daily lives. At the moment we are organizing four workshops per year, each focusing on a different theme.

  • My Place in Finland is a learning journey designed for adult migrants who wish to understand the society and its people better. The activities are based on thematic sessions and guided expeditions where knowledge is brought to life through experience. We'll be exploring interesting cultural places, folklore spots, and nature destinations, while promoting sustainable lifestyle and feeling good in nature.

  • We are offering youth and young adults from 18 to 29 years, an opportunity to design, implement, and monitor their own project, focusing on some specific aspects of sustainable lifestyle. These projects may apply funding from the Erasmus+ programme (as a youth participation project or as a solidarity project).

  • Our Silent Book Club in Vaasa is part of a global reader community whose members cherish spending quality time by reading quietly in the company of new and old friends. There is no obligations or specific goals to achieve, which makes the Silent Book Club a perfect place to come as you are, to read something you are interested in, and quietly connect with other readers.

Our current activities:

Our Sustainable Lifestyle initiatives consist of participatory activities that emphasize learning, skill-sharing, and developing grassroots solutions to sustainability challenges, all while enhancing well-being and fostering connections with nature. Creating common ground is essential: we need spaces, groups, and communities where diverse individuals can connect, find a sense of belonging, and work towards building an inclusive and sustainable society.
