Lalo is a brave little boy, who really does not like washing his hair. He gets scared when soap and water splash on his face and unfortunately today is the shampoo day.

All small children and their parents are invited to enjoy this story together. We will be reading the book in English in Matilda, located on the first floor of the main library. 

Lalo, the Brave Lion is written by Emily Joof, who is a Nigerian born Swedish writer and publisher at Mbife Books.

Emily has published several books, mainly in English and in Swedish. In her children’s books Emily handles inclusion and diversity from an afro diasporan perspective. She is also a mother of two young children who has inspired her writing.
