How to make the public spaces safe and good for all youth?
Ideathon Vaasa is a challenge were young people will form teams to develop their ideas or solutions into grassroots level projects which will make public spaces safer and better for all youth.
In the end of the process everyone gets to vote a winning project, which will get 3500 EUR for implementation ─ as well as support and mentoring from experts.
Participation is free and open to all interested! We warmly encourage young people from 16 to 25 years with diverse backgrounds to participate. Without taking into account varying needs and challenges that, for example, the minority groups face, the public spaces cannot be improved, and therefore everyone’s voice truly matters in this discussion.
Taking part in the challenge is also a great opportunity to meet other youth, learn about project design, experience a challenge, and to discuss together how to make Vaasa a better place for all.
The workshops is facilitated using three languages: Finnish, Swedish and English.
