I Will Swim Next Time is an encouraging and beautiful story about easing fears and supporting dreams.

All small children and their parents are invited to enjoy this story together. We will be reading the book in English, and after listening everyone can make their own sea animal.

I Will Swim Next Time is written by Emily Joof, who is a Nigerian born Swedish writer and publisher at Mbife Books.

Emily has published several books, mainly in English and in Swedish. In her children’s books Emily handles inclusion and diversity from an afro diasporan perspective. She is also a mother of two young children who has inspired her writing.

The event is part of Puddle, the Culture Weeks for Children, and Lifting Minority Stories project funded by the Nordic Culture Point.
